Dalha was born in Gonjo/ Tibet. 1963 she settled over to Germany After leaving school she attended FU-University of Berlin. She is mainly a freelance Tibetologist with emphasis on epic tradition of centrel Asian nomadic tribes.

Besides she worked in different political organisations for Tibet.
She was founding chair of the Asociation of Tibetans in Germany in
1979.
Since more than a decade she is active board of Tibet Initiative Deutschland.
